Reviews
After a year and a half of use, stop the machine works. It will grind coffee, but not cycle through water or heat. I've never done before in the possession of a product from Krups, so I 'm taking into account a different brand. I am assuming that a coffee maker should take a little longer than one year. The problem with coffee is also a problem, as the grinder reasons, it is distributed on the counter, and the machine itself will fall on a property. I think this type of machine is good for the convenience must have. It 's hard to justify, cleaning, after it all the time. I 'm thinking that at least with a separate drill-grinding machine and a coffee maker, if one goes bad, at least you aren ' t nearly $ 200.
I bought this coffeemaker to replace another Cuisinart that didn 't last long. I 've had it for almost a year and a half and made an excellent coffee. I had a minor problem and the customer support is very helpful. Then, suddenly stopped working. The wheel still works, but the resistance seems to have died in the filter water through habit. It is more than 's warranty, so I try a different brand (capresse) that I hope lasts longer and has a thermal carafe. I like the Krups and Cuisinart was much better, but I hope it lasts a while.
This product is a P.0.S. I will immediately return IT !!!!! R rI purchasing this product, and if he had sent "Expedited '. This meant that it arrived after 6 days. They returned my $ 35 in shipping, but again, the experience was lame. R rI diligently read the instructions, and was very excited to use my coffee maker. It worked once and once only. The sensor for the lid flip side didn 't work properly on 2 nd and 3 days of use, third time paying the full 10 cups of water over the counter and floor. R rDOUBLE FAIL. R spirit, and plastic / finish, and overall craftsmanship and quality are extremely poor. You 'll be embarrassed to have on your counter.
I'm worried about the recent purchase of this Krups Grind and Brew machine because the reviewer who criticized the coffee powder flying machine because it would cover the counter top. We have the same experience, but only for the first day. After the coffee bean coffee filled the channel, the problem solved itself. I assume that the static electricity build during the milling process as the reason for removal was driven through the channel of coffee. We love the machine!
[...] After spending dollars for the KM7000, two months after I wake up one morning with no coffee. Needless to say I was not happy. I contacted customer service, I have indicated to send it in. I asked them to issue a UPS call tag for removal then I 'll also have a box that reduces the chance of transit damage. The person tech supp said, this is against their policy. Summarized as follows, I have to find a box somewhere, pack this machine, give it to UPS, UPS Pay and wait until it receives back. Tech supp said "That's correct ". R ras coffee maker makes a cup of coffee, excellent, reliable coffee machine if this is under discussion. R rFor a coffee machine high, Krups and secure customer service poor. Perhaps the garbage man can salvage something from this piece of garbage.
I 've owned this baby for 11 months. It 's the rundown: r rPros: r-test Great coffee, if you buy a gold filter. Not as good without it r-grinds very well, and not overly strong r-Very easy to clean r rCons: r-broke after 11 months. The grinds don 't it all the way to the basket. R-May 3 "heat " settings (more / less grinds), but anything less than the most extreme are weak only r-The path between the mill and basket have a lot of grinds , ie each cookie using a decent amount of grinds from the last cookie. Sort of defeats the purpose of "fresh " grinding. R om have it. I love it until it broke, and for the price, it should last more than a year.
It 's nice to watch. It 'sa miracle of technology. And Brews a cup of coffee, if everything works. R rUnfortunately who broke GRINDER after only five weeks. (It seems that others have had this problem as well.) It won 't LATCH grind into place and thus won' t. I hear rattling inside the unit, as if a piece of hardware that came loose and fell into him. R ri can send it for repair and buy another machine to get me through the intervening period. Or I can only external GRINDER - buy in the end, the choice of this machine - and vow never again Krups defeats. I think for $ 149, I should have at least a few months of a device before he care about warranty and customer service. R rOutrageously cheap for the quality.
We 've is the manufacturer of coffee for a week. The first time we used it the coffee grounds spill out and make a mess but we think that 's for photographs from the mill in the filter empty hasn ' t happened since. Grinder also pretty strong just have to wait until the child is to make coffee. Also the coffee is good and hot (our old one does not get hot). Are very happy with our purchase.
We 've been using this product for about three months. It is easy to clean and the mill is not too strong. But 90% of the time, coffee has a taste of plastic. Otherwise, the product does a great job of mixing high (for me) or low (for my wife).
I see many complain about nothing and wonder what they have to time rather than enjoy a large cup of coffee. This machine makes a great cup of coffee for the average public. Not make espresso coffee or tea form Due to the nature of the system like obstruction. And especially do not buy this machine if you expect it to its complexity to be strong as a simple machine drizzle cookies. It is designed to be clean but not clean it like other grind and Brews messy, clean it minimally and that it will last. Because it also makes an automatic process, try not interupted or have trouble. The drip valve and serve is not good as it should so if you remove the pot before completing, you will have some big, but nothing like the horrid reviews I read. Something must agree to all the others is that the pot drips when pouring and it was irritating. Rbut point is, it makes great coffee for a reasonable time but not forever. If you expect things to last forever, you have to sacrifice the quality of cookies. Have had me for a year now, love it like a family member, but also accept his minor faults in exchange for his ability is lovely, interesting as my other family members.
All good things to say about this is met, functionality is generally better than our previous Cusinart. However, our Cusinart lived 5 years without any problems. I 'm debating sending the machine back for warranty 2a (by my side and a minimum of 4 weeks) repair ... Luckily (?) broke in the first 30 days and back of the Amazon was excellent about sending a new, even before receiving the gorge. R rMaybe I 'm bad luck ...
Unit won 't drink. Tried everything suggested in troubleshooting instructions. There is no joy.
We purchased the Krups 7005 in September 2008 and really liked it. Much better than our previous grinding and cooking. However, the heating element went out after about 6 months. No problem, it is still under warranty so we sent it in and got a brand new unit back. But the substitute lasted just 6 months, well before it stopped heating water. The engine is the right design but unfortunately the innards poor quality. We also had problems with supply of socks become disconnected (water all over the counter). The O-ring clamp is slipped off. Easy to fix but again a sign of poor entrails quality.
The grinder is much quieter than others Grind-and-brew we had. We love the ability to establish routines for coffee. It 's also much easier to clean.
If I could find a better Grind / Brew coffee, I 'd buy it. This machine has worked reliably for months, so that 's worth a fortune. But all aspects of this coffee is messy and poorly designed. It 's * * impossible for me or my husband to fall from Too Much Free flow when coffee is being ground, the amount of equity, all aerosols on the counter when the basket is triggered automatically in the position of the brewery, more grounds flying around, and when you open the lid to add more water, drops of condensation prior use off the lid and on the counter. This is the dirtiest equipment I 've ever had. Another disadvantage is that the plate is hot for two hours. But it works, and the coffee is hot.
The coffee maker is very poorly made and the customer service and Krups is not worth the trouble. We bought our unit as a christmas present but in a few weeks, the mill stopped working. It is under warranty so we sent it in the Krups. After weekly phone calls to customer service, they finally sent us a new unit. Unfortunately, the whole process took 3 months! Then, less than a year later, the mill stopped working again. We buy an external grinder least deal with terrible customer service again but only a few weeks later, it stopped working all together. We will buy croup 's product again!
Advantages: I 've had this coffee maker for almost a year. It works great, I get the same strength of coffee every morning. R rCon : ground coffee from the previous batch falls into the new batch. Grinder broke in 6 months, and she sent me a new one.
We 'I had this coffee maker for about three months and until now I can confirm previous reports of the following: r rPros r-best cup of coffee you ' ve never in our house! R-Nice and hot, unlike our previous Melitta r-water filters r-grinder r "Many of the settings to get your coffee tasting just right r rCons r-ground coffee mess (but decreases over time) r spot of age-Day remain cascade r-drip carafe r rDespite all that 's fault, this coffee maker produces the best cup of coffee you ' ve tested house. The water filter and grinder to produce a full-bodied cup of coffee, nice and strong the way we like. R rHowever, the unit makes a mess! In the first two weeks, we were right across the counter every morning. For the first few weeks, the meeting also wiped after each use. But soon tired of this and let the outbreak was full. Once the shooting stopped clearing the problem of coffee beans around the counter seemed to go away! Although day-old coffee sitting in the hopper, apparently to block the spray of coffee from the grinder for no more mess! And the small amount of days old coffee cart pushed is small compared with the full routine. So although not the day for coffee in the hopper of age, appears to act as a barrier to prevent ground spraying, and did not really affect the taste of coffee, which is the best we 've ever had. R rmy advice is just to hang in there the first few weeks until the problem of spraying leaves, and enjoy a cup of coffee since. r RUpdate: After three months of use, and preparation cycle not working and the unit is being sent for repair. I lower my star rating by the lack of quality, but can not using Amazon 's system.
Short and sweet I had it since July 08 this morning it does not heat water so all I can say is beware and look elsewhere. Also if you buy was prepared to clean spills from carf the worst you see.
It would be amazing unit except the fact that he tends to a sudden stop brewing at all after about 6 months. I've had this happen only for the second time in a year. Fortunately, my local retailer without the need to guarantee respect for Krups ship 'service center. R rFor record, I do every religion as recommended by the manual routine cleaning. R rAvoid buy.
I read a lot of good to bad reviews and decided to buy Krups KM7000. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the routine process of grinding and coffee brew. I can assure you that what I received was faulty which is why coffee grind ended over the counter in the kitchen than in the filter basket. However, the fault of this product is how isotopes are dispensed. Basically, the grinding of the basket filter is half-inch of open space (by design), which allow the mole to spit or rebound of the coffee filter. The problem with my machine direction of the fin is not opened in a straight up and down as it should be made, which was a slight angle (10 degrees or less), who led the ground coffee at the counter and not in the filter basket. This was caused by the locking mechanism is not completely blocked in the right place, which caused the lid open on a slight angle instead of upwards and downwards. R rNeedless that returning the item and bought another Krups grind do not have the option. I just grind my own beans and enjoy my coffee this way. If you get one that works, It 'sa fantastic machine. Hopefully this would have worked.
Six years ago, I reviewed a competitor 's grind-and-Brew, DGB500BK Cuisinart, and I ' ve been using it until the day that my Krups. R ri feel like I 've participated in the Great Leap Forward. The old machine had no ventilation or valves, steaming hot coffee to beer rose and settled right on the blade GRINDER compartment. Coffee resulting tenacious mud coated the entire inside of the machine and extended to rinse and scrub every morning. R rthe new Krups has a completely ingenious design that avoids such disasters. The Grinder Burr cone sits on the device, and after grinding is done at the beginning of the cycle, a valve plug, completely preventing the entry of any steam. The grinder has 5 settings for fineness of the grounds, and it automatically knows how to grind, based on how many cups she knows you 're beer, and if you say you want a smooth, regular or strong fermentation. This is all programmed in inituitive through an interface, there is a clock so you can set the machine to brew before time, too. Cleaning takes about 15 seconds if you 're slow, wash the filter holder and others, and you ' re ready to brew more coffee. You will have to fill the tank with beans once a weak or so. R rthe filter holder is conical, not flat bottom, so you will not be as steep reason your soup. The flow dynamics are excellent and I quickly realized the improvement in flavor extracted from my favorite beans. One caution: the optional PERMA Krups gold filter basket fits right in, but during the milling, it acts as a springboard, the reasons fall into it and jump right out, making a mess. I recommend paper filters instead, we use Melitta # 4 's. Melitta Coffee Filters - # 4 Natural Brown - 100 Count r result rthe: a perfect cup of delicious coffee every time and cleaning time reduced by about 90%. I am very happy with this machine, I 'd buy it again in a second, without reservation, and I suggest you do the same!
The bottom line: Excellent coffee, the best we 've had the engine house. We bought this after our faithful Melitta both die (they lasted about two years each) and we could not 't find the others. We tried to Cuisinart and it is a disaster - a weak, black coffee and interfere with complex designs scary difficult to clean. More details on Krups: r rFirst, fret about the review of coffee powder on the table to worry us. When I first used it was the reason grinder spray on the table. Small trap door that seals the grinder when the coffee is brewed, not close all the way down to the position of the mill, but was held at 45 degrees, causing a number of reasons for bounce and more from The Edge of the filter to the table. (If this all seems complicated, indeed. Coffee maker 's guidance states that the machine can not be used by anyone with reduced intellectual capacity. I am not making this up). R Rbut from the second or third drink, the problem went. Since then, another reason that falls from the mill to the right of the trapdoor into the filter blocks bounce reasons. Maybe the oil layer of coffee beans on the trapdoor with a reason to help THAT 'Bounciness too. Anyway, C-for the design industry, the trapdoor should * not * be held at the corner. The problem may be sloppy assembly in China, where everything is made and all things are made cheap and bad, but the basic problem is not a problem eventually. R rthe other is the pitcher kvetch. Compared with Melitta, which feels solid and is * not * dripping when poured, a Krups pot feels cheap and nasty. Dripping like a fountain. It * is * possible to pour from it without dripping, but who wants to concentrate on the difficult first thing in the morning? R Rother points. Noise? Get over it. This machine is much quieter than the grind / brews. Unless you live in your kitchen (not that there 's nothing wrong with that), you will not be awakened by the grinder. It 's too bad Krups didn ' t include permanent filters, especially at the price. And, actually read the manual - there are some non-obvious things you need to know. R Rbut, finally, the core of this exercise is to coffee. And it 's very good.
Used for about a week, then returned. Let me say first of all, the design is beautiful - it looks fantastic. The functional design is clever, but ultimately the source of his downfall. I also noticed his tendency to throw coffee grounds all over the counter. You must use your hand to it as a shield of ground coffee. There is a short canal between the mills and induction into the stock basket that of about 1-2 tablespoons full of day-old coffee grounds remain. R rit 'sa bit inconsistent. You specify the number of cups (to be determined 2-4-6-8-10) that served as long as the mill. Then there 'sa strengthness (mild-med-strong) setting. I was constantly tweaking them, but never to my liking sanded - it was almost always too strong or too weak. If you can do it in elected, it makes a good pot of coffee. R rLastly, it's pretty chaotic (not just lay on the ground) - since the brew swings to the side to remove the filter and you get used grounds, coffee and condensation dripping onto the counter. R rI returned it and got a Capresso MT500 (w / thermal carafe) and Infinity grinder. You are at the highest level. I 'd recommend separate machines for grinding and brewing, as it ' s the only way to have a uniform control over the process.
I 've owned 3 varieties Cuisinart Grind N Brew DGB-600 including heat. Krups makes this a hands down. Easier to clean, use less coffee, more coffee is hot, and easier to use and customizable, and more beans NOT MEASURE! I 'I noticed a big difference in taste with the grinder in the machine instead of the mill leaves in my coffee earlier. I love the user settings for the strength of beer, for U.S. $ 144 with free shipping, that's Brew N Grind to get!
